Job Introduction
Tate Images is seeking a full time Sales Executive on a fixed term contract, responsible for effectively managing and negotiating image sales, licences, rights, copyright clearance and invoicing, within the commercial image library of Tate.
The successful candidate with be proactive in responding to a variety of image requests, up-selling images and identifying new sales avenues for Tate’s image content. They will identify and build excellent customer relations with clients and handle requests in a timely, effective, and professional manner.
The role will also be responsible for investigating, cataloguing and promoting new content to clients for licensing and future income generation.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience within a picture library or knowledge of the photography licensing industry
- Experience or knowledge of negotiating fees and images rights with a variety of clients
- Experience in using Microsoft Office Outlook (Words, Excel and Outlook)
- Knowledge of UK and International Copyright Law
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Passion for what we do, with an interest in art and the aims of Tate
About the Role
- This is a full-time, fixed-term role for a period of 6 months (with possibility to extend for a further 6 months) reporting to the Image Licensing Manager.
- You will be located at Tate Britain
